Job Description
Keith Cook Training Limited (KCTL) is located at the heart of the National Forest and has been delivering training for over 35 years to various industry sectors. We are now looking to expand our administrative team that provides support to clients, staff and trainees ensuring the delivery of a high standard of business and office operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The duties will include:
· Be the a point of contact for training enquiries and provide advice, guidance and quotations on the type, suitability and cost of available courses.
- Schedule training and manage trainer availability using internal diary and booking systems ensuring that all trainers and training days are fully utilised.
- Registering learners, handle enquiries, and provide support for course participation.
- Work closely with the training team to ensure smooth delivery of all training activities and maintain accurate, up to date and compliance-focused records.
- Prepare training materials where relevant and compile reports using Excel or internal databases.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support within the team to ensure the smooth running of all activities
Skills and Requirements
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple courses and activities simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people
- Strong verbal, confident and written communication for liaising with clients and trainers.
- High accuracy in recording data and managing certification documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the construction/warehousing environment would be advantageous. This is not an essential requirement as ‘on the job’ training will be provided.
Education and Training
- Good standard of general education (GCSE A-C in Maths and English and A-levels or equivalent).
· 2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
· Evidence of experience in a customer focused role and familiarity with office rules and regulations.
